Absolutely, great place! Really clean, lovely facilities. Have taken several classes that have been wonderful including a group instruction class with Gabe today. Gabe was awesome! So encouraging; made the lesson fun and not intimidating at all! And it’s awesome to know that you can still play without being a member! An extensive calendar of events with a lot of opportunities for play!

My new favorite spot. I have now visited 3 times and I can easily say that this is the most welcoming place I have been to as a beginner with anything in my life. I received guidance and encouragement from the employees about how open play works, how to get connected to other beginners, how to chose a racquet, and which clinics are good to start with. They go above and beyond for every person who walks through those doors!! Walking in by myself the first time had me a little nervous and by the end of that visit I couldn’t wait to go back!

Cville Smash is representative of next gen pickleball facilities. The founders commitment to incorporating components of the best in class facilities is displayed in the layout of the courts (especially the LIGHTING!), the robust play schedule and the high quality clinics and professional instruction. The event space was thoughtfully crafted to support fun post-game hangs and fundraisers and parties. Need to work? They’ve got you covered there, too. Wherever you land on the pickleball spectrum, from pickleball curious to USOPEN gold medalist, CvilleSmash is for you. I would give twice the stars if I could. I continue to get so much out of my lessons and the clinics I attend. And i can’t wait to host my friends later this year for a party. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Colleen’s SmashFit class. It is a pb play hack I wish I could keep secret. We’re so fortunate to have an indoor pickleball facility of this quality in Charlottesville.

I took my mid-school-age daughters recently, and we had so much fun! We had never played before, but the staff was very kind and got us acclimated. Colleen especially was terrific! I loved the practice wall. Clean and spacious, great food options...We're looking forward to coming back again soon, and highly recommend to anyone looking for good active options with the kids!

cvilleSMASH is a wonderful new indoor pickleball facility in Charlottesville that has great courts, lounge area, and food/beverage bar! We had a client event here in October and were so happy with the success of it- Lauren and Colleen were very kind and helpful, and Bryce kept the tournament organized! Everyone had such a fun time and can't stop raving about it! They have so many great offerings for pickleball enthusiasts and people of all skill set- clinics, open play, and leagues to join!
